As long as the sneaker game is alive, the love for Halloween themed kicks will always be around. Haunted sneaker releases is nothing new, every October Nike blesses sneakerheads with special treats that gives people something else to look forward to during the spooky season. Over the years we have seen this genre of sneaker releases evolve into something quite unique, starting out with pairs showing a resemblance with their colors to iconic horror film characters, with sneakers now inspired by classic Halloween treats, traditions, and monsters. So we went ahead and tallied up the 10 best spooky sneakers that the Swoosh has given us.

Originally released on a Friday the 13 th back in November 2015. The Nike LeBron 13 “Horror Flick” features this red blood splatter to pay homage to his love for horror films.

9. Nike Air Force 1 “Skeleton”
2018 was the start of a 4 year stretch in which Nike released a pair of “Skeleton” Air Force 1’s for Halloween, this classic white pair is what started it all.

 

8. Nike SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief” This sneaker encapsulates all aspects of Halloween perfectly, from the jack-o-lantern on the toe box, the embroidered spider webs, the green ooze on the tongue, to even the candy corn aglets. This sneaker is definitely one of the spookiest SB’s to date.

7. Nike SB Dunk High “Coraline”
One of the older sneakers on our list and also one of the most rare is the Nike Dunk High “Coraline”, to commemorate the 2009 film Nike decided to release these Dunks limited to just100 pairs. To this day it’s still one of the most sought after SB’s.

6. Nike Air Foamposite One “ParaNorman”

For our 6th spot another cinema inspired sneaker makes our list. Almost instantly after releasing, the “ParaNorman” Foamposite became an instant classic and cemented it’s place in sneakerhistory. Over a decade later this sneaker still is one of the most coveted Foampoites ever, it’s a no brainer having this sneaker on our list.

5. Off-white x Nike Blazer “All Hallows Eve”
Made by the late and great Virgil Abloh, the “All Hallows Eve” Blazer was one half of a Halloween inspired pack that dropped back in Fall 2018. The pumpkin inspiration behind this sneaker makes it stand out from the rest of the Off-white x Nike collection and is truly a one of a kind sneaker.

4. Nike SB Dunk Low “Mummy”

One of Nike’s most unique creations of recent, the red beating eyes and green glow this sneaker emits makes it perfect for the freight night. The unraveling bandage aesthetic puts this sneaker in a league of it’s own, we of course had to have it in the top 5.

3. Nike SB Dunk High “Jason Voorhees”
It’s only fitting that one of the most iconic horror film characters is on this list, these “Jason Voorhees” Dunks are modeled after his infamous mask that he wears when slashing up his victims.

2. Nike SB Dunk Low “Day of the Dead”

Technically it’s not a Halloween sneaker but we had to have this sneaker make the list. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Day of the Dead” or “Día de los Muertos” is not only one of the best spooky themed sneakers but one of best sneakers ever made.
