Mark Wahlberg's Sneaker Collection

Posted by Steven Quach on

Marky Mark aka Mark Wahlberg is one of Hollywood's biggest names. That's not the only big thing he possess, we're talking about his sneaker collection. Sneaker data site, Campless got a chance to dive into Wahlberg's collection. Using eBay average prices, the site was able to generate a value that topples 100,000. Wahlberg rocks his shoes too.

Most recently, Wahlberg picked up a pair of Eminem X Carhartt Jordan IVs. Remember, only 10 pairs were auctioned off and those sold for an average of $22,755. Mark is a special case; he even has Walburger PEs and Entourage shoes (TV show's executive producer). Campless also put together a chart of Wahlberg's most expensive un-released shoes which range from Jordans, BBCs, adidas, and even Reeboks:

Of course this isn't amazing since the man is worth $200 million but it's always fun to see the collection of a sneaker enthusiast and Mark is a real sneakerfan. In case you were wondering what else Mark has to rock, Campless has created a profile for the actor.

Check out the gallery below of Mark rocking kicks (Judging by the size of his baggy jeans, he rocks the Jordans like an OG):

Nate Robinson takes a break from game action to talk kicks with Mark in the Oregon Duck Vs.

On a Hollywood set, Mark takes a break from the scenes in his Jordan Hydro slides.

Once again at the Lakers game, Mark is seen cuortside with the family. If he's getting Jordans, so are the kids.

On the red carpet, Marky Mark takes the ever so classic, Concord Jordan XIs with him to finish the fit.

Fitted with a matching Flight crewneck sweater, Mark strolls through the airport in the White Cement 3s.

Posted by Steven Quach on

The Golden State Warriors are still undefeated. Now 19-0, the Dubs continue to prove their haters wrong This season, the Warriors brought back "The City."  Not only did they bring back the jerseys, they changed their center court logo to bring back an authentic feel. From 1966-71, The City jerseys were in full force. In 2010, the Warriors modernized their old school logo to incorporate the Oakland side of the Bay Bridge in their current look.

To pay tribute to this amazing team, here are the five best alternatives for the Warriors' kits.

5. Air Jordan V Laney / Shanghai

2. Nike KD 4 Scoring Titles

3.  Nike Kobe 9 EM Gym Blue

2. Nike LeBron 8 "Entourage"

1. Under Armour Curry 1 "Dub Nation"

Kobe Bryant Officially Announces Retirement

Posted by Steven Quach on

Kobe Bryant has been the topic of conversation as of late. On Saturday, the Kobe XIs may have leaked and the man continues to struggle at the NBA level. On Sunday afternoon, Bryant admitted to the world that he would hang up the sneakers and call it quits at the end of the season.

As of now, the Los Angeles Lakers are 2-14 and the playoffs already look bleak. On the Player's Tribune, KB24 posted a poem. The most heartfelt part could arguable be Kobe's confession, love, and release of the game:

You gave a six-year-old boy his Laker dream
And I’ll always love you for it.
But I can’t love you obsessively for much longer.
This season is all I have left to give.
My heart can take the pounding
My mind can handle the grind
But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye.
And that’s OK.
I’m ready to let you go.
I want you to know now
So we both can savor every moment we have left together.
The good and the bad.
We have given each other
All that we have.

The Los Angeles Lakers gave the fans one of the most coveted giveaway prizes ever, a copy of Kobe's letter to the fans.

All 18,997 in attendance tonight will receive a copy of @kobebryant's letter to the fans. #Kobe20

In case you were wondering, these are already going in the hundreds. In the game versus the Hickory, we mean Indiana Pacers, the Kobe brought out another pair of PEs. In a wolf grey upper, the Purple Swoosh and accents are contrasted with a golden outline.

If these would ever release, they may be called the "Retirement Announcement" or the "Letter to the Fans."

Nike Kobe XI Photos Finally Surface

Posted by Steven Quach on

Kobe Bryant has had an amazing career. After 20 years, the wear and tear is visibly noticeable. The Black Mamba is expected to retire at the end of the season. That means, these Kobe XIs may be his final shoe.

Looking a lot like the Kobe 8, 9, and X, the XI brings another lowcut model. While these have not been confirmed by Nike all sneaker media outlets are claiming these to be the XIs.

Kobe has been pretty healthy and has only missed three of the 15 games. The floating rumor is that Nike is looking to move up the initial January release date. The belief is that if Kobe faces another injury, his career may be completely over. Without Kobe wearing the shoes, the sales have dropped and the hype has slowed.

The other rumor is that Tinker Hatfield was requested to work on this shoe. These do not look like a Tinker creation. They look like a rework and edited version of the shoes from Eric Avar.

5 Best Sneakers of November

Posted by Steven Quach on

November came and had some really memorable releases. Nike Basketball dropped a few colorways in their signature shoe lines and Jordan Brand brought back a classic for Black Friday. The Yeezys dropped a new colorway and many fans were left unhappy as they couldn't grab their pairs. December looks to be even more exciting.

5. Nike Kyrie 1 "Double Nickel"

Kyrie Irving hasn't returned to the NBA court but was seen in Pepsi's Uncle Drew skit. After two years, the grandpa hooper has returned. His limited Pepsi x Uncle Drew pair would've made this list had they released. Borrowing the nickname from Jordan, these Double Nickels dropped with the Opening Night pack (LeBron, Kobe, KD too) and it honors Irving's 55 point outburst.

4. Nike Kobe X "USA"

Nothing screams USA like red, white, and blue. This pair pays homage to the most free country in the world. Like the Commanders and the Opening Nights, the tongue features the crest. In other important Kobe news, photos of the Kobe XIs have finally surfaced and they were kind of underwhelming.

3. adidas Yeezy Boost 350 "Moonrock"

Yeezus, Yeezy, 'Ye, Kanye. He's been everything adidas has wanted and more. His shoes continue to sell out immediately and the hype is real. The "Moonrock" is the third Boost 350 to drop. Next up, the 750 in the all black colorway.

2. Air Jordan 1 "Cyber Monday"

How can something so simple be so nice? The Cyber Mondays will conclude the month for Jordan Brand as they prepare for a highly anticipated December. This brand new colorway is getting tons of love for its simplicity.

1. Air Jordan 8 "Aqua"

Jordan Brand has made Black Friday a reoccurring event.

2009 Jordan 12 Flu Game

2010 Jordan 7 Bin 23 | Flint 13

2011 Jordan 3 Black Cement

2012 Jordan 4 Bred

2013 Jordan 5 Oreo

2014 Jordan 6 Infrared

This year, another black based shoe released in the Aqua 8s. Often regarded as the most popular Jordan 8 ever, these brought teal and purple together once again. As one of the most unique looks ever, the Aquas were made to turn necks.
