This year Jordan Brand plans to commemorate the 2016 Olympics with a special release. The Air Jordan 11 Low White/Gold is scheduled to drop this summer just in time for the games. In the past, JB has released timeless Olympic iterations of retro kicks. However, never before has the Air Jordan 11 been reworked to honor Olympic athletes. Photo shopped images suggest the Air Jordan 11 Low White/Gold will have vast similarities to one of Chris Paul’s player exclusive drops. Hopefully our 2016 Olympians will embrace this year’s gold theme by taking home first place medals.
The Air Jordan 11 Low White/Gold is expected to boast a white upper with black detailing. A gold patent leather overlay gives the sneaker its character. Like most Air Jordan 11 silhouettes, this rendition will rest atop an icy outsole. Their release perpetuates the growing lowtop sneaker trend. Whether you approve of lowtop iterations or not, it seems they’re here to stay. On anther note, it’s still early January, so there’s no telling what other kicks will commemorate the 2016 Olympics. However, it sure would be dope to watch Team USA rock these on court! What do you think of the Air Jordan 11 Low White/Gold?
